Anbrasi Edward

Dr. Anbrasi Edward is helping LMG design and implement rigorous studies and operations research evaluations showing the role of leadership, management and governance interventions in strengthening health systems. She is a full time faculty member in the Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and For the past 15 years she has been engaged in health systems research and evaluation in low and middle income countries, Co-instructs several management and primary health care courses and is the Co-Director of the Health Leadership Management Concentration for the Master’s in Public Health Program at the school. Her primary interest is in quality management and strengthening health system initiatives and has supported several projects for the design, research and evaluation of performance both at the national and primary care level. Currently, she is engaged in the design of health system performance evaluation framework for PAHO and also serves as the Co-Principal investigator for Afghanistan’s Evaluation of Strengthening Health Services for the Rural Poor Initiative.
