Betsie Cialino

Senior Project Officer

Betsie is currently responsible for coordinating monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and communication across mechanisms receiving funding from the President's Malaria Initiative (PMI). She compiles and analyzes PMI's support to National Malaria Control Programs to give a consolidated picture of PMI's work across target countries, while also providing monitoring and evaluation support to other LMG Project field buy-ins. Betsie has over eight years' experience working in international development, and in the past has worked for John Snow, Inc. and World Education, Inc., supporting HIV/AIDS, health systems strengthening, women's empowerment, CSO capacity-building, and education projects. She applies a collaborative and country-focused approach to project management, drawing from her international experience, which includes two years with the US Peace Corps in Benin, studies in Honduras and Venezuela, and country office support to programs in Benin, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, and Senegal. Betsie earned her MA in International Development Studies from the Elliott School of International Studies at the George Washington University, and is fluent in French and Spanish.
