Emmanuel Le Perru

Principal Technical Advisor

Emmanuel Le Perru has been working in the field of health and international development for more than 12 years at national and international levels, either for development organizations, academic and research institutions, government agencies, management consulting firms, or pharmaceutical companies. As a Principal Technical Advisor, Emmanuel manages at Management Sciences for Health’s home office the USAID-funded Leadership, Management, and Governance (LMG) Project activities in West and Central Africa and in Haiti, as well as the LMS/Haiti project (Leadership, Management and Sustainability), which ensures the distribution of reproductive health products in Haiti. Emmanuel has extensive project management experience, most recently at Population Services International (PSI), where he was the Program Manager for Benin, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Togo, a portfolio with an annual budget of more than $100 million that included HIV and malaria prevention and treatment programs as well as reproductive health and child survival programs. Prior to this experience, Emmanuel worked with the Institut Pasteur in Paris as a Licensing and Business Development Manager for Infectious Disease Therapeutics in the Office of Technology Transfer. He was also Associate Director for Business Partnerships and Grant Management at the French National Cancer Institute (INCa). In addition, Emmanuel served as the Representative of the French Agency for Innovation Financing and Development (OSEO) at the Embassy of France in the United States, and worked as the International Technology Outreach Program Manager in the Office of Technology Transfer of University of California System, Office of the President. He received his master’s degree in management from the SKEMA Business School in Nice, France, and studied for a year at the TEC de Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico.
