Jeanne Hamon

Senior Project Officer

Jeanne Hamon has over seven years of professional experience in international development. Jeanne Hamon currently provides project management support to the LMG projects in Haiti and Burkina Faso, as well as MSH’s Leadership, Management and Sustainability project in Haiti.

Prior to joining MSH in 2012, Jeanne worked at Oxfam America where she coordinated the organization’s annual student leadership conference and provided technical support to the organization’s gender mainstreaming initiative. Jeanne’s research experience includes field research on women’s land rights in Tanzania, and work with the Northeastern Due Diligence Project to research the due diligence principle within the business and human rights framework. Jeanne also has experience in the international education sector. While working with the Scottish Fair Trade Forum, Jeanne developed educational fair trade materials for primary and secondary school students. In addition, Jeanne served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guinea and Togo where she taught math to secondary school students and developed girls education programs in her community. Jeanne holds Master’s in International Law and Sustainable Development from the University of Strathclylde in Glasgow, Scotland and a BA in Biology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
