Reshma Trasi

Director, Monitoring, Evaluation and Research
Dr. Reshma Trasi leads the Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Team at the Leadership, Management & Governance Project with Management Sciences for Health. She brings more than 15 years of expertise in performance monitoring, evaluation, applied research, leadership and management, and strategic planning in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Throughout her professional career, Dr. Trasi has designed, implemented and supervised research, monitoring and evaluation systems for complex multi-country and multi-faceted programs, with particular focus on HIV/AIDS and reproductive health. She specializes in linking performance monitoring, evaluation, and implementation research to strategy development, course correction, organizational learning and policy change. Dr. Trasi has demonstrated success in identifying, applying and evaluating high-impact practices and state-of-the-art approaches in four cross-cutting areas at national and sub-national levels: health systems strengthening, capacity building, gender equity, and advocacy for women’s leadership. She has produced numerous papers, articles and presentations in the technical areas of her expertise. She has a medical degree from the University of Mumbai, a public health and management degree from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and an MPH from Yale University School of Public Health.
