Sara Weinstein

Senior Project Officer

Sara Weinstein is a Senior Project Officer in the Center for Leadership and Management (CLM) at MSH. Her portfolio includes program management support to three LMG programs: Libya, PASCA (Central American Response to HIV/AIDS) and support to the USAID/LAC Bureau. In addition, she provides technical and management support to the IDB-funded Salud Mesoamerica 2015 Project. Sara is based in Guatemala City. Prior to joining MSH, Sara spent seven years working with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in Latin America. Her first four years were in the Bolivia program, supporting projects in the areas of health, democracy promotion, youth development and water and sanitation.  For the next three years, she served as the Deputy Regional Director for Management Quality for the Latin America region, based in Guatemala. Before working overseas, Sara worked for several international organizations in Washington, DC, including the Institute of International Education and Population Services International. Her first foray into public service was as a Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA) in San Antonio, Texas. Sara has a Master’s Degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and an Undergraduate Degree from Rutgers University. Contact: [email protected]
