The USAID-funded Leadership, Management, and Sustainability (LMS) Project, implemented from 2006-2010, provided a unique opportunity to study country-based outcomes that may have been sustained over time.

Since 2011, the USAID-funded Leadership, Management, and Governance (LMG) Project examined the elements of long-term effectiveness of select LMS programs in Bolivia, Ghana, and Tanzania. This study analyzed which leadership and management intervention outcomes in those countries worked over time and why, to determine how LMG Project can build upon those successes.

This case study evaluates programmatic, financial, and partnership sustainability themes to identify their influence on sustainability and to make recommendations that help programs achieve sustainable outcomes.
