Wayne Nissly

Knowledge Exchange Director

Wayne Nissly is the Knowledge Exchange Director for the LMG Project.Wayne is a communications and knowledge exchange expert with over 20 years experience in the fields of Learning & Development and Knowledge Sharing within a wide variety of organizations including private, public, government, and non-profit organizations. Prior to working for MSH, Wayne served in the role of Deputy, Int’l Operations for Abt Associates and was recognized for key process innovations delivering significant growth in Abt’s knowledge sharing culture and providing the organization a variety of organizational assessment functions and global capacity building tools.  Previously with World Vision, International Programs Group, Wayneserved in the role of Chief Architect/ Strategic Capabilities and developed a web-based global knowledge sharing platform connecting the programming and marketing sides of the organization with the field offices (over 1600 offices across 97 countries).  With a Masters in International Management, Wayne brings a global mindset and wide exposure to a variety of cultures. Having lived in developing countries for 16 years, Wayne demonstrates an understanding of how and where Communication/KE solutions offer value, and how they can improve the effectiveness and performance both in the field and at headquarters. Wayne also has a clear understanding of technology capacity issues in the development context, a strong familiarity with USAID KM initiatives, and demonstrated success with process improvement, mobilizing communities and championing organizational change.
