Code of Good Practice for NGOs Responding to HIV/AIDS

  • By: Global Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS

The NGO Code of Good Practice was developed by NGOs, for NGOs, to help guide our work by providing a framework to which we can commit and be held accountable. Drawing on 20 years of knowledge and experience, the Code sets out key principles, practice and evidence base required for successful responses to HIV.. This "tool" is actually a manual and several self-assessment checklists covering different topics. Checklists have some guidance to help orgs develop subsequent action plans and if you register your assessment with the org, they'll follow up in six months to see how you're doing w/your action plan.
