This toolkit is for people and organizations (primarily community based organizations [CBOs]) that respond to HIV and AIDS at the community level in developing countries. It aims to build the confidence and skills individuals and CBOs require to develop and manage HIV/AIDS projects more systematically. The toolkit can also be used by non-governmental organizations (NGOs)/CBOs to implement training within their organizations. It is important that people using this toolkit already have some basic facilitation skills, for example in guiding large group discussions and small group activities.
