Betsy Bradley

Dr. Betsy Bradley will serve as the key liaison between Yale and LMG to accomplish key results. She is the advisor for all Yale research and programming and is leading the design of implementation activities with consortium partners. Dr. Bradley is faculty director at Yale Global Health Leadership Institute, director at Yale Global Health Initiative and professor of public health at Yale School of Public Health.  Her research focuses on health delivery systems and quality improvement and has contributed important findings about organizational change and quality of care within the hospital, nursing home and hospice settings. She has been involved with several projects regarding health systems strengthening in international settings, including China, Ethiopia, Liberia, South Africa and the United Kingdom. Dr. Bradley is also leading the development of an operational framework of diffusion, dissemination, and widespread take up of family health innovations. Findings from this research can be integrated into future strategy development and large-scale implementation efforts undertaken by the Gates Foundation and the wider global health community.  She also works with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Clinton Health Access Initiative on the Ethiopian Hospital Management Initiative. Dr. Bradley received her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. from Yale University and is author of more than 180 peer-reviewed publications and two books. Contact: [email protected]
