Katie Martin

Senior Project Associate

Katie Martin is a Senior Project Associate for the USAID-funded Leadership, Management, and Governance (LMG) Project at Management Sciences for Health. In this capacity, she serves as the activity manager for a ten-country midwifery training program and supports a number of activities related to reproductive health, family planning, and torture rehabilitation. Prior to joining MSH, Katie was a Senior International Program Management Consultant for the US Department of Defense on a  9-nation communications program based at Naval Base Point Loma. Her past experience includes a White House internship in the Vice President’s Domestic and Economic Policy office, as well as a position in the US House of Representatives through the Panetta Institute for Public Policy. Katie graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from San Diego State University with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Security & Conflict Resolution and Political Science. Katie has worked, studied, or traveled in 23 countries across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean.
